2017 Tour de Gruene Tour Route Maps

There are 5 tour lengths. All routes travel down scenic River Road and begin and end at the beautiful Lazy L&L Campground. The courses are designed to get progressively more difficult as the routes get longer. Therefore, the further the distance - the more conditioned the rider should be - and a faster pace expected. With the exception of the 14 mile route, all routes have hills. Experience and training should be considered when selecting your ride distance. If a rider gets behind schedule on the longer routes, they will be encouraged to switch to the shorter route at the option venture in order to stay on schedule and receive the support of our mechanical, medical, police, rest stops, SAG -- and be back in time for the post ride celebration meal. You don't want to miss it!

Printable maps can be found on the bottom of this page. A professional company will be placing arrows and signage on the roadway on event day.

The 14 mile route has a mandatory stop at the 7 mile half way point rest stop -- which is also the turn-a-round point. After most riders have cleared the south-bound lane, the tour will head back to the Lazy L & L.  This is done to reduce congestion for vehicles traveling on River Road.
