Results will note Eddie Merckx Racers (non AERO):

Five-time Tour de France champion Eddie Merckx rode in the Tour de Gruene Time Trials with teammate Lance Armstrong on Sunday, Nov. 10, 1996, in Gruene, Texas. Merckx joined Armstrong, who was recovering from cancer treatments, in the 26-mile time trial in central Texas. Merckx and Armstrong wore standard helmets, used standard wheels, and a standard kit of shorts and a jersey. We would like to note racers in our results who race without aero equipment. No aero helmets, suits, wheels, tear shaped frame tubes, aero bars. You will find a place on the registration form to note if this special recognition applies to you.

Results will note "RETRO" Style Racers:

This would be any racer utilizing steel frame and fork bikes; OR, single speed bikes.  You will find a place on the registration form to make note if this special designation applies to you.

CANCELLATIONS:  There are no refunds. Registered athletes unable to participate will be allowed to transfer their entry to another athlete if we are notified by October 20th.  There is a $20 transfer fee to the replacement entrant to change out all of the data from our end.  After October 20th any vacancies are filled by matching mph from a waiting list.  By notifying us of your intent not to race you are giving us the right to fill your vacated slot. Please note, even if your time slot is filled, no refunds are issued. Racers who inform us of their hardship do so in order that someone from the waiting list may ride in their stead... (this also prevents them from being listed as no-shows in the results.)

WEATHER CLAUSE:  If weather precludes the event from beginning or finishing, there are no refunds.  The charity Sally Kingsbury Sarcoma Cancer Foundation will still benefit, and t-shirts and Wurstfest tickets will be distributed on site.

Click here to view 2010 OVERALL Results    This is a large download but important. You will find it VERY interesting. Racers are recognized who were closest to their submitted predicted speed (0-1%), as were racers who missed their mark by too much (10% & up).  Sandbags awarded at 10% plus an additional bag for every 5% increase. Seasoned racers, please note the sandbags by your name and spend the time needed to accurately calculate your estimated speed prior to registering. First timers were pardoned.... but now you know.
